Evanna Lynch is the young Irish actress who plays Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series. Lynch studied speculative fiction and drama at the Centre for Talented Youth of Ireland, a summer program for gifted children. She was a HUGE Harry fan, an wrote letters to J.K. Rowling. At age eleven she begged Rowling for help in one of her letters.
“I told how I looked up to her,” Lynch tells The Sun “She wrote back and was like a counsellor. She told me anorexia is destructive, not creative, and the brave thing was not to succumb to it.” This helped her over come her anorexia and go on to play Luna Lovegood. Rowling really is an ispiration.
